Sewing a flap on face mask for my nose ... 30 years old vs 70.

Thirty:

get out the sewing kit ... 2 minutes

thread the needle ... 2 minutes

put in 10 stitches ... 4 minutes

tie off the thread ... 1 minute = 9 minutes

Seventy:

find the sewing kit ... 20 minutes

Drink coffee then Find scissors to open kit ... 10 minutes

Open pkg of thread ... open pkg of needles ... find needle threader ... 15 minutes

Look for bottle of wine and Then Thread needle ... husband laughing in background ...15 minutes

Chase husband into living room with needle ... 10 minutes

Pour glass of wine and then Pull thread through mask 10 times ... 8 minutes

Finish second glass of wine and Find scissors to snip thread 8 minutes

Stuff needle and thread, scissors, threader back into very small pouch ... duct tape pouch closed .... 5 minutes

= 1 hour and 30 minutes.
